Philosophy and terroir
Our vineyards are steeply sloped. This is good for the wines. But a lot of work has to be done by hand. Every step throughout the year, from pruning to harvest, becomes more challenging. Both Peter, the visionary founder, and Felix, his nephew who carries on his legacy, strive for precision and elegance in their wines. Most importantly though, they want them to reflect their origin: the vineyard, where they are grown, and the specific growing conditions of each vintage.


Winery & Family
DIPOLI is a small family winery located in the south of Alto Adige, Italy. Since its establishment in 1987, our focus has been on producing wines which express a deep sense of place. We believe that each variety deserves to be planted only in vineyards that suit it best. Therefore, we have specialized: high up on the hillsides, on light soils dominated by dolomitic rock we cultivate Sauvignon Blanc. In the lower sites, where temperatures are higher and the soils heavier, we grow Bordeaux varieties.
